Hawk watching has become one of the most popular types of "bird watching". This video examines why people watch hawks, explains some of its long, storied history, and explores some of the prime locations for viewing hawk migration in Eastern U.S. (Mount Wachusett, Mount Watatic, Hawk Mountain and Cape May). Video footage(from Don Crockett) includes a wide range of raptors in flight as well as interviews with Pete Dunne, Bill Clark and Laurie Goodrich of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary just to name a few.<o></o>

Also there will be a live bird of prey demonstration on Kestrels by Joey Mason. Joey will give a short presentation titled Kestrels and Cranberries. As the cranberry growing season progresses, so does the life of a kestrel. Kestrel populations are decreasing and there are a lot of theories why. Two live kestrels will attend for up close and personal looks. This promises to be an educational and fun event for anyone interested in hawks. Bring your camera for this great photo op!<o></o>
