I captured this Oxpecker on an Impala in Kruger National Park.

Good detail and colour captured. I would like to see a bit more space below the head and tail.
I would also try and recover a bit of detail in the Impala's eye.

Thanks Dave. I totally agree with more space at the bottom but will have to add canvas. Should'nt be too difficult.

Well done Hendri, I like the eye contact with the Oxpecker.
Agree with the space at the bottom.

Hi Hendri, I love these images with the OP's on animals. Great close up, colours look natural, and I would maybe sharpen the head of the OP a bit more. It looks like your focus point was on the nose of the impala.

Good capture, Hendri. I like the light and colours. Agree on a little more room below and with Stuart's observation on the focus. Would have been ideal to have the Oxpecker's eye sharp.

Lovely image. I feel a bit tight but love to see the full bird.
Eye doesn't look sharp.

Cool interaction shown between the two agree about the above and also i believe that the reds could be toned down a tad along with the yellow ring in the eye a coule of points would be enough and then resharpen just the bird and eye

something like this maybe

Really like this image, nice light, good exposure and great interaction between animals. The casual eye of the impala is a great bonus. Agree about being too tight. The repost with sharpening make this image even better.
