Took out for a long ride for the first time.

Its a kiwi pontoon kayak with motor mount. I used a foot control 40LB thrust 30" shaft trolling motor with a 12 volt battery.
Had little trouble hand controling foot pedal. Other than that it was a good ride on loxahatchee river for 3 hrs.

Love your idea Sid !!!! Need lots of info on your boat !!!!! How did you do with the birds from the boat I'm impress

I envision a fleet of those things We could all get together for aquatic outings How much did it cost!!! Big Time Congrats !!!

I'm glad I got to see the kayak in person this weekend, Sid. Really more compact than I originally thought! How stable is it to shoot from?

Yes, how stable, and how low do you get while sitting in it? Can you lay down facing forward without that box there? Doesn't look like it, but . . .

I get my pontoon boat (Hooptie Deux) Wednesday and will have the 70hp outboard motor from the original hooptie available.

Sorry.. smarta** has plans for dual trim tab motors with 2HP NOS gas engine in future. :D
