Shot this in as tight as the lens would allow and set the aperture wide open. Fuji S3 Pro

Excellent job Mike, its not easy getting all 5 subjects on the same plane in a straight shot. Its beautiful.
Thanks for sharing.

Hey Robert, your so right, I've shot this many times with very poor results, but every once in a while it works out well.

This has a very dreamy / milky look to it. For the florally challenged among us, what flower is it?

Hey Jim, I spelled it wrong on the title, it should have been, Amaryillis flower.

Beautiful image, Mike. I am amazed at how you got them all in focus wide open. Excellent job. I used the word ethereal to describe one of Maxis's images yesterday and it applies to this one as well.

Really beautiful Mike! Love that narrow dof and it's soft effect like they're sprouting out of air!

Mike,
Another impressive image. Well done for all the reasons mentioned.

Another great effort Mike - love the simple design & colour here. Since viewing your 'abstract' images I have been looking at nature with different eyes!! I find that observing different approaches and techniques is one of the major benefits of the BFN Forum.

Very nice. You had exactly the right DOF for this shot, any more or less and the image wouldn't be nearly as compelling.
