Before "inventing the wheel twice". Is there anyone who uses the D300 and the D3 and who is willing to put his custom settings on this forum, so i have a kind of starting point?

Many thks

Moose Peterson's settings are available via http://www.moosepeterson.com/gear/d300.html for the D300 and at http://www.moosepeterson.com/D3/moose_d3_settings.html for the D3.

You might also find this D300 settings spreadsheet useful: http://www.nikonians.org/forums/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=149&topic_id=104364&mesg_id=104364&page=

Just got my D300 the other day have only made about 150 images so far, but I like the way it handles and autofocuses. Just wish they hadn't moved the play and bracket buttons from where they were on the D200. Really impressed with the high ISO performance and DxO Optics 5.0 seems to handle the files really well.

Thanks for these links Bob. I got one two and a 200-400VR and 18-200VR. I am having fun with it.
