I went on a day trip to South Beach two days ago and had a pretty good time. I didn't see as many birds as I have before at this place, but I still was able to get some decent shots. It's been a long time since I've posted here and wanted to start back up again here and there.

Thanks for looking.

Josh, that is a beautiful flight image! While the standard pose would be for the bird flying toward you, I really like this image for the wonderful feather detail in the back and wings of the bird. The out of focus ocean is a perfect compliment. Welcome back and hope to see more!!

P.S. I was thinking about heading to South Beach myself today...but I have a feeling we are talking about different beaches. :)

Beautiful image, Josh!
Judd pretty much summed up my thoughts.

Looking forward to seeing more!

Lovely dorsal view, showing good detail and colours. The sandpiper pops so well from the BG, but I would maybe add a bit to the bottom and LHS.

NIce detail and exposure. The sharpness of the bird makes it pop from the background. The only minor nit is perhaps a slight bit more of a head turn back would have been nice.
