Phymata crassipes (ambush bug) on endemic orchid (Ophrys aymonii), road verge on Causse Noir between La Bourgarie and St. Pierre des Tripiers, Lozere, France.
Canon 50D, Tokina 100mm f/2.8 @ f/11, 1/13, ISO 100, tripod, MLU, crop to horizontal (due to size limitation here the image would not work as intended in vertical orientation with the full flower of the orchid visible)...
