Taken at 7:30 AM on Feb. 3, 2008 on a cold morning. The pink cloud is a steam plume. I have never witnessed this before
Canon XTi 70-200mm f4L 1/250s f5.6 200mm ISO 800 eval. metering

hi terry, i love the shot but i think it could be stronger moving baker to the left of the frame. i gave it a try and this is what i came up with. hope you like it.

I loke the recrop and yes it does a good job of strengthening the composition.

I like the use of layers in the image. The dark FG mountians, the mid-toned middle ground and the tall peak BG.

The repost's composition is very good. Love the layers in this scene. I really think a graduated split ND filter on the sky and mountain would have worked very well on this image or shooting an HDR sequence.... Very nice scene..
