I took this shot this past spring during early migration. I went out on this day hoping to get a hermit image and while this wasn't 100% the image I wanted I was pretty happy. I originally cropped horizontal but switched to vertical to try and clean up some of of the bg clutter. Thanks for looking and I hope you like.

Nice bird no wonder you wanted his photo. The image appears a bit soft in my monitor possible because of the low shutter speed and handheld.

I beg to differ with Fernando. Is that Ok Fernaando? This bird and its perch is tack sharp. It is a wonderful shot as is; but if you have 2 to 3 hours one day see if you can clone and gausian blur out at 5.8 the BG now very soft trunk and major branch. I think both images will be fine but if you try it when bored you won't be bored at that time.

Hmm... I have to agree that the bird is soft. I like the diagonal perch. Background is OK, but a bit busy and draws the eye away from the subject.

Good find, eye contact and light. I wish the branch behind the bird were not there and would sharpen the bird more.

Sharpness looks to be right on the beak and eye, right where you wanted it I imagine. BG branch is distracting though.
