White ibises are common on Biscayne Bay, but this was the first time I had seen black necked stilts here. Wasn't sure how a combination of birds like this works, but I did like the reflections.

Some highlight recovery in LR2 on the white feathers.

I like the setting, light, and poses. I would sharpen the stilts more, and tone down the highlights.

I see several spots that look like dust on the sensor, could but stuff in the water but looks like dust, I would get rid of it in any case. I actually think it would be a very nice image without the stilts.

For CS2 or higher in Photoshop use Highlights/ Shadows under the Image-Adjust menu and you will have some image.

some good advice given by Peter. this shot's got potential, some TLC will make it pop nicely.

I like the serene mood and nice to have 4 birds in the frame. I would sharpen the stilts more and agree regarding toning down the highlights and would lighten the shadow of the bill of the the ibis on the left.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I made the suggested changes and was quite happy with the results.:)
I removed a few of the 'dust' spots, brightened the beak of the left ibis, sharpened it, as well as the stilt heads, and adjusted with some shadow and highlight. All in CS4. The result is this repost. I hope others can see the difference. Thanks again for the great advice, this is why I post here!
