Shuttle Atlantis takeoff. VAB is the square white box bottom left for perspective:

Hi Trish,

Interesting landscape image.:) Exposure looks right on and the vertical format the proper choice for the subject. I know that you framed it with the shuttle in the middle to take advantage of the dramatic clouds but I would have liked to see the shuttle placed right in the frame and the VAB in the lower left and not cut at the edge. To retain the clouds, you could have gone to a bit wider angle to include more of the scene. I like the idea of the perspective by including the VAB but would prefer to see the whole building.

For this image I would be more inclined to crop out the VAB. Nice work.

Wow, I love this view Trish. I've always wanted to witness a shuttle launch, and with the clouds it appears that you really saw a fine show. I agree with Robert on the wish for a bit more of the left-side showing to keep the entire Vehicle Assembly Building in the frame.
