Christmas Grace

I remember when our family
Was much larger than today
We'd gather at the table
For a feast on Christmas Day
And even though our loved ones
Are not sitting in these chairs
They're in our hearts and memories
And always in our prayers


I have started working on a foil technique for images and have decided to work on a Christmas card- so any feedback would be appreciated.
I wrote this poem for the first Christmas without our Mom, so I thought it would be nice to give it as a Christmas card to my family.

Really lovely Denise. It's good to see you thinking about making some cards - I've only been harping on you to do that for a year now! YOU GO GIRL!!!

My only suggestion on this image would be to calm the center down on the ornament just a little bit more. I like that you're going for a "foil" look and I really feel you've pulled that off but that one spot is just a little 'overwhelming' to me. Man, what a neat idea!
