I like the jet trails in B&W of your image, it looks the jet trying to lit the sky on fire to me. If this is in color the jet trails would be white and I won't have that feeling. Nicely done.

Like the original. This is an image that took me a few moments to appreciate but once captivated, I like it a lot. My only suggestion would be to widen the tonal range a bit. You could darken some of the areas by playing with the red photo filter in Photoshop.

Thanks to all. I was waiting for birds to fly across the water and no one would take-off. I saw this jet and took the shot. The image I pictured in my mind was totally different, this image is not what I had in mind and once posted I was a little disappointed, so it goes.

Back to birds.

Excellent compos, Jeff and my vote is for the original, maybe a bit darker overall. Sweet!

another vote for the original. there's a great range of tones in it. PP is very well done. sometimes it's tough to beat your original vision!!

Jeff, I go with the original also. I was just suggesting the red filter to darken the blacks a bit, of course there are other ways to that as well. I don't like the re-post either.

Thanks Nick, the red filter often helps with B&W tones so the suggestion was a good one anyway.
