Excellent image Steve. So sharp on the coyote, not too much OOF FG and the background pleasingly OOF too. I like the green bushes against the lighter grasses.

I like the composition here. The head of the coyote is on an PP, very pleasing. You gave him room to look into the frame.. A fine capture...

Very nice image, the fore and background, really make this a remarkable coyote environmental portrait.
Best,
Howard.

Hi Steve,

Lovely composition. I would play with the curves to give it a stronger contrast.

This is such a nice image, Steve!
Great bg, foreground and subject. I would also like to see just a touch more contrast.

Great welcome to BPN!!!
I like your choice of processing, not too much contrast, sharpness where is needed. A beautiful image well presented, I can see why it would be your favorite.

Great color, exposure, etc. To be picky, the only problem for me is the coyote is not "focused" Looks like you caught him in a moment of indecision, listening behind and looking left., but then, that could be what you wanted?! Nice shot.

Steve, I really do like the feel of this lower contrast image. The coyote is isolated in such a subtle sort of way, making it feel very much a part of the landscape. Nicely done.
