The head of second part of Chunchi falls where smooth flow of water turns violently turbulent and cascades about 100ft+. Here is a link to the phase I of this falls: http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php?t=43770

Hi Ramesh,
Interesting presentation here and the fast SS was definitely the correct choice.....not sure you needed 1/6000 and maybe would have traded some for more DOF.....but it does look sharp throughout and the power of the water really comes through. Nice job leaving a section of the smoother water before it goes over the falls. I have debated whether angling the camera down a bit more....removing a bit off the top and addding some more to the base would strengthen the image.....but I don't know what other elements that may have introduced......so cropping just a bit off the top....eliminating the triangular shape area in the URC....only further enhances the interesting rocks on the far shore. Nicely done!

Croping some of the top puts more emphasis on the water but the rocks over there are very nice. I think that a slight change of camera position would have helped.

Nice water flow you got, and i really love the rocks in the BG. Great job:)

Thanks Roman, Rene and Kyle for your views. Roman, i took other images with a bit more of FG and less of BG. Found there were distracting elements on FG. Felt rocks on the BG contrast well with the ravaging water and hence went with this composition.
