These guys are common in gardens, and found in the wild as in this image. This was taken last weekend, in the Pilanesberg nature reserve. Its always good to get a pair, but not sure if they are male and female. Being together they could be.

I like the light, Comp, sharpnes, perch and the two birds.
On my monitor there's a strong halo around the birds and the perch.

Great to have two in the frame with good head angles. I only wish for a lower angle and a better light angle. Did you use S/H?

Stuart, Nice composition and agree w/ Axel on the light angle. It's hard to get nice sharpness on both and you did beautifully. Interesting perch.
