Captured at Bolsa Chica on Jan 1. My 1st satisfying capture of the year in terms of a record shot of this species in breeding colors and overall subject and composition which I was happy with.
Canon 1dmarkIII, 1200mm (600m f/4 with 2xTC), Manual Exp: Ambient -1/3. ISO 640, F11, 1/1600th

Regards to all and congratulations on the new site!

Thanks to all for pointing out my rookie mistake. I agree it needs a bit of CW Rotation. Guess I was a bit lazy. Using the CS3 measure tool from catch light to catch light, and then going to rotate canvas arbitrary the capture appears off by 0.58 degrees. You guys are good!

Regards,
Larry

ps: This board scrolls fast! Lots of posts - Wow.

Beautiful first post! Welcome aboard, nits already mentioned.

An easy way to see if an image needs some rotation is view the image large so you have to scroll and then just scroll your horizon line to the top of the screen and you can easily see if it needs any rotation. :)
