Morning on Biscayne Bay.
Sony a700,Minolta 300mm, 1.4XTC
1/2000, f11, ISO400
PP included addition of warming filter, cloned out some of the water to smooth out the background behind the birds. And some cropping.

I like the concept of this image, and the colours look good. I find there is few too many birds, thus causing a bit of excessive merging. I would also give it an even more pano crop by taking away about half the empty space at bottom - this would nicely place the subjects in the LLC. I like the imcoming cormorant and the varous head angles.

Really like the BG color, the incoming bird is great but what I like the most
are the birds on the RH side, the one on the right edge pose is just great,
makes nice tension and feel of action. I too wish there were less merges,
but not too bad as is. Congratulations.

DD = ditto Daniel. Love the colors and the mood but too many merges with the birds on the perch.... A VERT might work next time.

I like the comp as is too. Lovely colours, and I feel the cormorant in mid air finishes this off nicely.

I do not mind about merging birds. I love the mood of the scene and the empty space at the right. I echoe what Daniel said about croping a bit more from the bottom
