From my front yard. These guys are much more cooperative than the towhees. Didn't land where I wanted it to, but I still like this image.

I like the angle, perch, BG and eye contact. I might have stopped down a bit more to have the feet in focus, too. The eye area looks a bit oversharpened on my monitor.

Adrian, I like the comp. The DOF looks shallow, but the eye is nice and sharp. I might add a little more contrast and see what that looks like.

I like it, esp. the off-centered COMP. A bit darker with the mid-tones and a bit more contrast might improve it.

Thanks, Axel, Artie, and Brian.
Axel- I didn't have a lot of light, and didn't want to lose any more SS

Brian, and Artie. It was a foggy morning with low contrast. I already added 15 points of contrast.

I like it, alot. There's nothing in it that jumps out, objectable, to me. A pretty little bird. I hope to see one, one day.

Aidan, I like your image - all comes together nicely - beautiful bird, perch, background and catchlight in the eye. More DOF would have been great, but I see you were already at 1/160 at ISO 640, so your f5.6 selection is justified.

Goode pose, eye coanct and setting. Perhaps could benefit from a bit more contrast.
