Another look at the silhouetted hunter...

Same series of the Great-blue Heron, but a different strike as the one I posted a couple of weeks ago here, http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php?t=43044 . I just love the abstract feel these images gave. In this one I can find many faces when rotated up or down:)

Canon 40D + 100-400L @270mm, aperture priority, evaluative metering, 1/1600s., f/7.1, ISO 500, no EC (metered off brighter part of water out-of-frame), handheld.

A great study in symmetry and pattern. An unusually abstract but very effective photo that is enhanced by the golden glow., that would look great hanging on the wall.
