This photograph was taken early yesterday morning. I liked the way these two gals (mallard females, I think) dabbled all around the shallow pond together. The original image was a bit dark, since I had my EV set for some white birds and had not changed it before taking this exposure. Cropped minimally and adjusted in Lightroom for brightness, clarity, vibrance, contrast, NR and sharpness. Did I get this one right?

Hi Wendell - sweet early morning light - Good HA'S and eye contact.
A tad more sharpening perphaps - you could also tone down some of the highlightson the bills.

was it possible to shoot from a lower angle here???

Keep em coming :)

Well, Lance, i was sitting on the ground for this one and the pond sloped off gently from there, so to lie down would be the only thing more I could have done. I will try more sharpening . . .

Looks good Wendell Just tone down the area by the base of the bill Right now you can probably select by color and multiply Well composed and two good head angles !!!
