This is a combination of my favorite bird;Green Heron, favorite shooting mode; High-Key, and favorite post-processing technique.

Bill, I like the intense stare and the pose. Details look great and can really shine w/ the up-close look!(thanks for including it)I find the perch interesting w/ the moss. IMO your cropped image can also stand alone as an image-it is a very interesting perspective w/ loads of detail.

Talking about HAP, therefore I shut up re: HA! :D It still works IMHO. I love the HK look. I know it's your fave PP as many (probably most) of your pics are like this! :) Neat image design, love that log and those mega feet.

Thanks everyone! I was under the impression that "profile" as in the title meant side view. Anyway, Roman, there are HAP roaming around here, who I respectfully ignore! regards~Bill
