Sparrows are not always that friendly. Perhaps a litlle tiet in the frame bud this way the focus on the head of the agressor gets a prominent p[lace in the frame.

Olympus E3, Zuiko ED300 F2.8, Zuiko 1.4 converter, 425mm focuslength, ISO400, 1/1250sec, -0.3stop

I agree about being tight in the frame but these birds are hard to caught mid air. You had a focus right on the head which is even harder, very well done! The open beak helps with aggressive feeling.

A unique capture. I'm impressed with the detail captured with a very difficult shot to pull off. The colors felt a bit odd to me. I made a couple of minor adjustments via a threshold adjustment layer to set the black and white points. Then I desaturated the yellow channel just a bit.

Impressive timing and focus, Alexander. Is that a seed in the bill? Agree with Keith re the colour and I think the repost is good from that point of view.
