Not the sharpest picture, but it is the only image I've ever seen of a juvie spotted towhee.
Used a couple QM's and some borrowed canvas to add to the bottom.
50D, 100-400 at 400
1/250, f/5.6, ISO 400
Tripod, Blind

I like the angle, open beak, perch and BG. Maybe you can sharpen it more in general and the face a little less.

You can try to play with this for sure to get the best result. I really like the perch, BG.

Thanks for the comments Axel, and Lorant. I used a contrast mask on the face in the tiff and it looks pretty good. The feather detail is there, it's just not as sharply defined.
I do think its worth keeping though.

Hey Aidan, love the pose with the legs spread, and open beak. Cool looking perch too. Well captured.
