EOS-1D Mk III, 70-200mm f/2.8L @ 200mm, 1/3200, f/4, ISO 400
Manual Flash at Full Power
About 90% of Full Frame (cropped from right and bottom)

Removed one twig sticking into lower left side of frame.

Photographed in a misty fog last week at Bonaventure Island during a workshop led by Chris Dodds.
Thanks to Chris for pointing out the opportunity for a different BG and suggesting the use
of the upper right AF sensor to improve the composition.

Looking forward to your comments and critiques! <!-- / message -->

Wow Mike a great action image and I love the beautiful BG. My only wish would be for a little more canvas on top but a fine job in capturing this and your exposure is excellent. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful expos, loved the pose and details, would have placed the subject a little lower, still I liked this a lot, congrats...

Setting aside the technical excellence and cropping issue mentioned above, I'm struck the ethereal feeling of this image. I find it quite compelling.
