Yellow-billed Hornbill Stare (Post # 1000!!!!)

Hi everyone! Time does fly, here I am posting my 1000th post on BPN in a few short months.

This is a fun shot taken in the Kruger National Park of a yellow-billed hornbill looking down my lens. I want to thank everyone on this forum who keep on giving constructive critiques and keep on pushing me to learn more, try more and improve my shooting in the field. That's what makes this site great! Keep it up, I will try my best to do the same to your photography...

I like the goofy pose, sharp eyes and particularly the eye lashes. I would tone down the highlights some more.

A fun pose for sure. I agree toning down the whites, and I wish the flash had stronger output. Focus is placed perfectly on the eyes - well done.
