Took this shot during the Raptor Free Flight at the Desert Museum. This was during a Nikon sposored Trek. I just found out the photo was picked as one of the top 20 taken during all the 2007 Treks. Just wanted to share.

Used Canon 20D, 1/200, f11 and ISO 200.

Congrats on your "top 20" win. Hmmm....Nikon sponsored trek let a Canon man win.......sorry, couldn't resist. Tell me....was this a large crop and what lens did you use? I'd say the light was harsh coming from above. This image certainly has a lot of potential but it seems to lack detail...a smooth appearance rather than sharp.

The light was harsh. The crop wasn't too much. To be honest I'm not real happy with the results. Like you said potential is there. Thanks for comments.

Hi Bruce,

I agree with Lana's comments. I also think it's a bit tight in the frame.

Excellent image with sharp details and good color rendition. The eye detail and clarity puts this over the top...congrats...
