Thes showy semi-herbaceous member of the Fabaceae (Bean) family is called a Coral Bean, Cherokee Bean and other things. It is found in the Soputheastern part of our country. I found this seed at the Audobon Nature Area on Hilton Head island in SC.
Picture taken with a Nikon D1X camera with a 24 to 120MM f3.5 - 5.6 Lens at F5.6 and 1/60sec. ISO = 200

Interesting use of depth of field. I would go back on the reds in Hue/Saturation to let more detail show through on the beans. You could loose an inch to the right if you wanted.

Peter,
I am with Fabs on this one. Soft BG doesn't compete with the seeds. The one seed on the upper left; clone out the hot spot. Thanks.
