Here is a female Halloween Pennant I found while driving along the canals of Big Cyprus.

Don, I like your composition, but maybe would have preferred the empty space in front. Your exposure looks great w/ a very pleasing BG. Tack sharp. Well done.

Hi Don, Nice specimen, muted backround and sharp. I agree with Denise regarding more space in front of the subject as opposed to the rear.

Hey Don,
If you don't have space up front.....go with tighter crop on rear. Easy to add canvas up front if you are comfortable with that......but as I am a fan of tight crops.....I might just take the back off! Super sharp and great BG too. You nailed all the details in this one!

Details, lighting, BG - all fantastic. It is a bit centered for my taste as well - I'd let the front of the fly have a bit more room and take off from the back. Beautiful presentation on this!

Hi Don. I would agree with the comments above about the comp. Otherwise the image is excellent - sharp, good exposure, nice pose, and clean background. Well done.

Excellent detail, lighting, background and pose. I tend to agree with the suggestion of more canvas in front/less in rear.

This is a field guide quality shot. Excellent capture of the wing venation and the vulvar scale ... Cropping just below the lowest tarsi and the distance from the wing tip to the top behind the tail would give the illusion of forward space that many commenters are looking for, I think.
