Went to visit brother yesterday. We had 20 minutes of daylight left to try this. Shot with 5DII 70-200 & 580 flash. ISO 800 at f/3.2 in AV mode. Would certainly welcome tips for next time ! Sure fun trying :D

Hi Randy,
This is one sweet image and capture, love the open mouth and the reflection, with the splashing of water...well done...

That could be a fishing mag cover shot just about. I'm sure they'd fit the type around it somehow. :) WOW!

Way cool Randy! Great looking shot. About the only thing that I might try would be a slave flash from the left at about 60 degrees. Love the color of the light on the water!

Hi Randy

You can usually tell the jump spot so pre focus and hope for lots of chances !! Check distance to fish and check your flash setting ... if you are over 1/250 won't be much !! Hope you nail one big time and this is not bad at all!!!

Outstanding! I would try to sell this one to the maker of the lure.

Thanks for the comments ! This is the best one yet. Sometimes it is hard to tell when they are going to bust water. The print turned out really well. (Canon 9500) My brother will love it !

This image is wrong on two levels.
One, I did not take it.
Two, I did not catch the bass:(.

Very cool image!
