Well composed and executed Lady Mirenchu, I like the capture angle and the color rendition...your yellows are in check...a point to consider; I recommend on cloning out the brown blemishes on the lower petal...aside from this, good show...looking forward to your next one...

Love the way it comes into the frame from the corner and love the green and yellow colors. I wonder if the focus point should have been higher (it appears at the base of the flower/stem).

Marigolds are one of my favorite flowers, Mirenchu! Love the bright colors against the black BG. Very eye-catching. Personally would like to more sharpness in the petals and stem.

Like the composition and the light. I would second Gus's suggestion to remove those blemishes; it just makes this image better. Does look soft but I assume that's your artistic decision.

Is that a 4.0 second shutter? If so, it was on a tripod and that is why it is soft.
I might be reading it wrong, not sure why the shutter would be this slow, did you mean 1/250?

I was wondering about the shutter speed also !!!
Love the idea and composition Would like more sharpness throughout or going real soft !!!

Hi - yellows look good - I too agree - It needs to be sharper or softer - like the composition.
Well done :)
