It's a Delta rocket.

Pulled up to my boat slip this morning and saw a bright light in the sky. As quickly as one can I took the 500 off and put on a more suitable lens. I wish I had prior knowledge of the launch or I would have been a little more at the ready :(.

i just missed it myself! walked outside to fill up a spray tank, looked up and saw the trail.

ed. no worries. just the wind moving the contrail around a little.
