Not quite sure what these flowers are. I focused through some greenery at the bottom.
500mm and stacked converter and 25mm extension tube

black eyed susans!! look good too. only wish the one wasnt cut off on the left frame edge. i how the oof plants at the bottom gave you a nice blur effect.

I like the image and capture...I agree with the good Doctor in cloning out the flower thats cut on the left side of your frame...aside from this, I like it...keep them coming...:):cool:

I have never used tubes, how much did it help minimal distance?

Agree with comments above, great texture on flower petals. Did you consider stopping down to help DoF or was BG to close - well done. Simple and colorful.

HI jackie - like the OOF effect at the bottom - agree would be better if the one on the LHS side was not cut off.

Jeff the 25mm extension tubes cut down your minimum focusing distance dramatically. Gives you a large working distance for macro. BG was pretty close as the bokeh is not really nice. Should have focused on the top right flower though instead of the back one though.

Hi Jacky....I like this shot...And i don't mind the one on the left hand side being cut off....In my view cutting is better than clipping and you definetly cut. Also, that left flower helps complete a circle for my eye.
