This was a Cardinal against a blue sky. I used the gradient map and Topaz Clean for some edges. I also changed the BG color and masked back in the eye and perch.

How cool is this? I love it! At first I thought it was a Swift Parrot, one of my favorites, an endangered species in Australia. WOW. I think this is awesome Denise. :) Good bar set for the gang! :D

a very nice graphic Denice....quite colorful.
Just for play, take the image and do a levels adjustment, moving midtone slider a bit to the right.
Should add a bit of contour/depth maybe.....just a thought

Dave, I did a few level adjustments and ended up adding some darks-didn't get much of a change from the mid-tones. See if this is better.

Dave, I like it better, the darks were needed in the perch. Thanks for your help.

Denise, I love this composition. Great colors and use of black bg makes it stand out well. Repost works very well.

Akos, I thought of a parrot when I first saw it too.

I've been called that. I mean a parrot. I should say, more specifically a Galah (Eulophus roseicapillae). Which is Aussie colloqial for being an idiot. :D we would say, Ah, he is such a Galah! :)
