Swimming Lessons (Common Loons)

This image was captured during the summer of 2003 with one of the Loon parents giving the babies some swimming lessons. This image was captured on the Canon EOS 10D with a Canon 100-400mm image stabilized zoom lens. Very nice work. I like the two head turns that you were able to capture, makes up for the third facing forward. The background is nice, and you did well on the exposure. The only thing I might consider is a different crop (depending on the size of the current crop). I'd take a lot of the left and right, so that the neck of momma would fall in the middle of the frame, and her head was intersecting the new top-third line.
