This is the feamale of the species. I posted the male on the 12th. It is posted following a suggestion by Tony in order to show the difference in plumage.:)

Good one, Gerrie. Lovely streamlined launch pose and BG. May be able to back the sharpening off the bill a little. There is a little blurring/clone pattern on top and bottom of the left side of the perch which is a little distracting.

I like the streamlined pose Gerrie, together with the sweet light. Lovely complimentary colours in the BG too. Well captured.

Good work Gerry, glad Tony noticed the blur on perch. Well done! I like it, good take off pose and light is well handled. Thanks for sharing. :)

This is a beautiful bird, Gerry! I have only seen this species once, in St Lucia recently, but the bg was a mess. Congrats on getting one out in the open!

Nice one Gerrie! I particularly like the pose; kind of reminds me of a dart. Love the light too.

Great pose, light, composition and background. Agree that it might be a bit oversharpened. JR
