Man you have some gorgeous images of Lions
stunning shot for me no issues at all

TFS

PS :- What good news I last saw B2 in March 2005, and he was a very big fellow then.

Nice to see that he is still going strong and still providing great photographic opportunities.

Can you show something of B2 from 2005 trip would like to compare

Harshad,

Thanks for your comments. My pictures of B2 are not that good "older equipment"

There is one on this thread

Ken,
You have got some nice lion images. I like the low angle of this image and the way it looks up. Was it eyeing a bird or something? :D The mane seems well combed.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Beautiful subject and well portrayed, the only thing I'd have done different is point the camera to the left to place the subject more to the right, opposite to the side he's looking into. Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful Lion shot Ken. You have some darn good shots of my favorite animal. Fascinating! Love that look and like Fabs suggestion.

Agreed with off centering Ken. otherwise a mighty wonderful image with great light, great exposure and a stunning subject. You do have some magic big cat images. I do love looking. :)

Very nice all around, Ken. Handsome subject in soft sweet light and I like the way the eyes glow. Maybe a smidge off the right, but not a big deal.

Thanks for all of the comments.
This is not far short of full frame, the lion being in the centre is mainly down to it being the only way I could see through the surrounding vegetation from the position we were parked in.

He was also originally looking to the right and I had a little more space on that side.

I think he was probably looking at a bird. It was quite a windy day hence the nicely combed mane.

Handsome image Ken. Centering here doesn't detract much at all. Love the intense stare!

Looks almost playful in this one. I like the light and detail.

A lovely image of one of my favourite big cats, Ken! I wouldn't like to get down for a you-know-what, even if my bladder was about to burst! :D

Excellent shot Ken; off-center crop would've been better IMHO, but good none-the less.

Thanks for sharing.
