Another Christmas day, 2007 at MINWR. Macro a la 1200mm. Full frame - crop suggestions?

A pleasing study of patterns Robert - reminds me of a seismograph!! I like a the repetitive reflection and diminishing heights of the water reeds. IMO any cropping would disrupt this composition. The variety of tones in the water further enhance this image.

Nice work Robert, I agree completely with John's comments.

I wouldn't crop it. The soft light really works well for the mood of the image.

I love this kind of pattern and reflection image! To me (and maybe my eyes are crooked, this seems to need a very slight cw rotation as they appear to be leaning to the left. If you really wanted to crop (although not necessary) you could come in a bit from the left to get rid of most of the wispy greenery. I like it as is though too.

Intoit,

Thanks I was thinking about a slight crop off the right. Rotation looks to be needed too.

Hey Robert, cool comp and crop looks great. The color shading in the water looks really nice.
