Michael, Did you do the Mule ride down the Canyon? I did the mule trip down the Grand Canyon to Havasu Falls then hiked to the actual Falls-Then hiked some more and climbed down the iron rungs to Mooney Falls-What a great day!!

No I walked about 1.25 miles along the trail then headed back up. I had my wife and 10 year old with me, and I figured that was as much as they could handle.

I want to do the falls in the next 1-2 years, but I'll take the helicopter to the Village; then I'll hike to the falls.... ;)

I like the perspective Michael...the last time I was on a Mule was six years ago in Mexico...:eek::D:cool:

I've never even seen a mule other than when I look in a mirror. :D Have fun next time you go! :)

Looks like a dust ride - but then its got to be easier than walking back up that hill!!

so long as you're not down wind from the mules I guess you're ok....

to do the hike up from the Phantom Ranch, is a good 6-7 hours especially if you leave at dawn ....

I'd like to try it one day...
