Fantastic light, pose and sharpness. If I had the PP skills I'd probably try to remove the leaves where the branch exits the frame. JR

Great pose and expression on that bird, captures its nature very well.
I'd only crop from the bottom bit more, or add space on the left.
I like the perch and the BG combo very much too.

crystal clear and pin sharp as usual. ditto the leaves to the left of the bird.

Great exposure, background, compostion and sharpness. Also like the pose and I don't mind the leaves.

The leaves add balance it is a pity some are not supported and are hanging free with no stalk

I like this shot because it so captures the personality of this bird. Finding one down low enough to get this excellent angle is a miracle in itself. Usually I see them high in trees. Personally, I like the leaves and think they add much to the image. They prevent my eye from wondering down that strong diagnal line and leaving the subject.
