Thanks, Brian. The bg is actualy a distant mountain with some patches of snow.

Stunning Jim!! How do you think it would look as a vertical, less on the right, with a tad more room top and bottom. Just a thought.

I actualy tried that first, but ended up with this because I liked it better.

Lovely colors here, great dorsal display, nicely exposed. Very effective BG. I agree about sharpening the eye selectively.

For me, this crop works well, I might even add a sliver at the bottom and right, since he is going that way.

Killer shot with eye contact, perfect exposure, tail white patch has been preserved well. A minor issue, I can see some color noise (very subtle red and cyan grain) in dark feather areas. Sharpness and pose is amazing. BG is great. Wonderful.

Fantastic image. Agree that it looks just a bit noisy in the feathers and that something is just a bit off on the head. JR
