Hello All,

I have been following this site for quite sometime and posting in here finally :)
BG is OOF Coconut tree.
Exif: Nikon D90, Sigma 70-300 APO DG Macro @ 300mm, f 5.6, 1/1600, ISO 400 with Noise reduction set to Normal

Simple but effective composition setting the whiteness of the butterfly off against the greens, also like the diagonal darker stripes that really add to the composition for me :)

I second that BG - it's as good as it gets for setting off the white of the butterfly. Do you remember what made that interesting pattern in the BG? Was it a tropical leaf of some kind? Nice details on the butterfly, too.

@ Julie: BG is OOF coconut tree leaves. It was lit by morning light, creating 'green stripes'.

Beautiful Madhav. What makes this image different is the lovely BG stripes. Nice seeing and capture.

I'm loving this picture, the stripes in the BG really add art to this. The butterfly is in focus and sharp love the comp. Great job with this one. I could see it hanging on my wall :)

A wonderful image the white BF contrasting against the green BG and it's placement in the frame makes this one for me.
