Stuart, Very impressive image. Love the raised wing with all the details and colors and look at those scary claws.:p
Your exposure looks good and so does the blue sky. I might clone out the greenery in front of her and maybe lighten and sharpen the eye a little to make it pop. Congrats

Good observations and suggestions by Brian, and I will add that I wish for a better HA as well as better separation between top of head and wing. The upstroke of the near wing is ideal, but the wing itself seems a bit rough. Good take-off pose, and the vegetation in LLC nicely anchors the comp. Perhaps a tiny bit more room above as I find the highest primary feather rather close to the edge.

I like the eye contact and sharpness and wish the far wing were higher up. Another vote for removal of the vegetation in the lower right.

Hi Stuart I too like the moment you captured position. Good detail. Other than the comments above I might try and bring out a little more detail in the dark tail feathers. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic action and sharpness. Needs more room to the bottom and right IMO. E.g. including more of the tree at the bottom may have avoided the feedback re removing it and yet given it more room to fly into. JR
