Dave, Nice conversion and the comp. looks good. This is a cool image , you could have alot of fun with in OOTB. I'll have to look for images like this when I'm in the field.

This is great too Dave. I like old buildings and B&W is a good way to present them. It gives them the authentic, rustic feel they deserve. :)

Dave, this is excellent! Love the comp on this - I think you nailed it.

As a side thought, I did a conversion like this once with an old abandoned farm house and let about 20-30% of the natural wood color to shine through. It added a whole other dimension to the piece - you might go back and try it with the black and white layer lowered just a bit to let the natural tones of the wood start to shine through and see what you think.

These are a blast to shoot. Don't forget to try HDR too even for B&W conversions....
