The light was changing by the second and deteriorating due to approaching storm/cold front.
A flock of these birds arrived infront of the storm and gave us an exciting and busy 15 min.
The wind was pumping and the birds struggled to land.
We could not increase DOF due to bad light so had to capture indivdual birds.
All comments welcome

This is spectacular! Was this really shot at ISO 2000, I am only asking as Noise does not seem to be distracting in anyway.

Ken yes it was shot at ISO 2000, but in did need a bit TLC with NN to sort it out.

You have done exceptionally well with regards to the light, and use of a high IDO Dave. I like the landing posture, good detail captured, sharp, and also like the extended feet. I would like to see this as a vertical, with a bit of space added below. Just wondering how it would look. Cheers.

Top marks again, Dave! I agree with Stuart, I'd be interested in seeing this as a vertical with a bit more room added to the bottom if ya got it. The BG adds so much warmth. I like everything about this. Congrats!
