A monument in Gallipoli On back you can see the invasion beach and behind me a building with artifacts. One of the most moving places I have ever visited, the letters on display would bring tears to your eyes.

Comments welcome and much appreciated

Hey Al
As an Aussie, I have a fair knowledge of that place. It is very special to us.
I remember a presentation by a well-known local underwater photographer about a submarine there included some images from the museum which displayed some interesting things. One that will always stick in my mind is that he mentioned the bullets were so thick in the air that many hit each other in flight. He even showed photographs of that! Now that is one unbelievable firefight.
Thanks for sharing. :( :)

Quite the appropriate monument for such a place. Looks so inviting yet it holds such sadness....thanks for showing us this place.

Looks to be a very emotional place to visit just from the memorial. I can only imagine the emotion that must flow when viewing the other parts of the area.
