I am always looking for a new perspective to shoot the lighthouses here in Maine. This is a view from the South Porland Headlight done at the shore line, which is to the left in this frame. the parl closes at dusk and they will lock you in if your not careful. So you have to work fast. I thought this offshore light, it is pictured in my first post of SP Light in the landscapes forum, would make a good anchor with the moon rise. What do you think?

I like it very much, Grady. I tried Nik's Midnight filter at a low opacity and added more blue in Hue/Sat to increase the mood. I believe this is not about detail, but mood :) Hope you like it!

I thought about darker, it has merit. But I just don't know. What does everyone else say?

I agree that a darker sky & water works, but the land should remain lighter... I think that would retain the mood, but also the detail in the foreground
