Loved this Ken, The Light is great, good pose, very colourful bird, the grass shows the habitat well. only thing I would suggest is to clone out the Black line in the BG.. still a lovely one... Congrats..

nice image Ken.. to me this is bit softer image. bit of contrast and 1 fstop darker would have been good to me..

very nice shot, neat looking bird! I agree, the black line in the bg should be cloned out.. sweet habitat, and nice light.

Very lovely capture. Nice environmental and colors. I agree on a bit of contrast boost here. I'd cut a little off the top and bottom also.

Ken, Lovely image of this bird in its habitat. I agree with the clone suggestion. I don't think the reflection of the bird's body is helping anything so would consider cropping some off bottom. Nice lighting and good details, I think exposure is probably OK as is but would consider using curves to darken the mids a little.

Good Shooting!

Thanks for all of the comments, I did try to clone out the "ripple" but it looked messy, I will try the cropping suggestions and have another go at that "ripple"

Well that took less time than anticipated, is it better I fear I have darkened the mid tones a little too much.

Very nice bird indeed. If it were mine I would crop a little on top and bottom. I believe the second repost is oversaturated.
