I particularly like the sky and clouds in this image. I think I lost a bit of detail on the birds body though although not clipped?

Great pose and I like the framing Dave. I would sharpen the head a little more. Nice sky too!

Excellent control on the whites ! the only nit is the dust on the sensor near the center.

Its a beautiful picture, well exposed and timed.
I Liked the fact that there is some space before the bird into which the bird is flying into.

the sky is sublime Dave. details look fine to me, whites handled well against the sky. I would also sharpen the head a tad. love the pose!

Dave,

A perfect example of why this forum is good.

The sky really adds to this image.

Super comp and flying angle Dave. Great detail, sharpness and exposure from the near underwing, and just love the clouds in the BG.

Excellent repost, much sharper head mate. Goodie. :) I do see some jpeg artefacts around the waving cloud line above the bird right across the screen. :)

Thanks Akos, yes I see the artefacts, I did the edit on the jpeg not the original tiff.:(
