I like the color and the sharpness. I also like the light that is falling on the center of the flower. Those light and shadows area gives it a better 3-dimensional feel to it. I would be tempted to darken the background though, especially those petals that are kissing the frame.

I really like the selective focus you present. It is a perfect way to show how these flowers live in groups. Darkening the petals in the URC and the OOF bloom in the center as Desmond suggested is a good idea.

Hey Dave,
Nice thought on the group here. Desmond has a very good suggestion as they sort of break the flow of the central ones. If possible in the field.....using clothes pins or plamps to pulll those out of view in the future will overcome that problem completely.
